The Max Perutz Labs host a broad spectrum of scientific facilities that support the research activities of our groups with state-of-the-art instrumentation and highly trained expert personnel. These complement the portfolio of technology available at the Vienna BioCenter Core Facilities.

BioOptics - FACS

The facility offers analytical flow cytometry and cell sorting.

Mass Spectrometry Facility

The facility performs intact and native mass spectrometry as well as a wide range of proteomic services.

BioOptics - Light Microscopy

The facility provides state-of-the-art instrumentation and expertise for light microscopy.

Histology Facility

The facility provides equipment for histological analysis of tissues.

Plant Facility

The facility supports the research activities of groups investigating plants.

Monoclonal Antibody Facility

The facility provides an in-house service for the generation of custom monoclonal antibodies.

VBC Core Facilities

The Vienna Biocenter Core Facilities GmbH (VBCF) is a publicly funded non-profit organisation that provides cutting edge research infrastructure and expertise in the life sciences.
