NaturTalente provides an exclusive setting for a fruitful exchange between STEM students and partner companies. This is especially interesting for students wishing to shift their focus from an academic career to one in business and industry. Established in 2015, this year’s program will have 32 attendees, including six MFPL scientists: Benedikt Agerer, Irena Corbic-Ramljak, Daniel Elsner, Dhaarsini Koneswarakantha, Tabea Reitinger and Amelie Schoenenwald.
The program offers five modules designed for both personal and career development alike, taking place between January and June 2017 – each in cooperation with a different industry partner. This allows the students a more in-depth look into the partner companies, as well developing their soft and communication skills. More in detail, the individual modules are:
Module 1: “Career planning”, in cooperation with Boehringer Ingelheim
Module 2: “Job search”, in cooperation with Roche
Module 3: “Job interview”, in cooperation with the Bundesrechenzentrum
Module 4: “Teamwork”, in cooperation with Accenture
Module 5: “Communication”, in cooperation with the University of Vienna
